Have You Ever Wondered What Boys Are Thinking?

“What do you think about junior high boys?” a friend of mine asked her thirteen-year-old daughter.

With a glare, she replied. “They’re annoying. And perverted.”

“It’s not any better in high school,” her older sister chimed in.

What’s up with that? How could those creatures who draw so much of your attention and affection also repulse and bug you so much?

Easy – they’re guys. By nature they are different. And by nature, we can’t quite wrap our heads around that.

Tough girl, if this is you, READ THIS BOOK!!!!

For Young Women Only isn’t just a book written by a woman with an opinion about guys. It’s the result of years of research, surveys, and studies to really get what guys are thinking. When you read it, it’s like a light bulb clicks on. “Oh! So that’s why they do that!”

This book will change the way you think about guys. It will change some of those neurotic over-analytical things you think. It will change the way you dress. And it will well up in you a compassion you didn’t even know you had for these guys who are a whole lot more complex than you could have ever imagined.

Get it, tough girl. You won’t be sorry.

Come Read My Book!

My book is finally out! It’s a dream come true and I’m so pumped to share it with all of you!

Spooky is Christian YA spy mystery set in a Northwest boarding school. It centers around Stephanie, a former CIA spy who is forced to finish off her teen years as a “normal” person when her parents go MIA during a mission. As Stephanie struggles with letting go of her past and trying to blend in, she can’t help but notice there seems to be something strange going on at her new school. It will take every spy trick she’s learned to unravel the mystery without blowing her cover. But things take a turn for the worst when she discovers that the strange things at her new school are inextricably linked to her past.

A book review of Cross My Heart and Hope To Spy by Ally Carter

“Cross My Heart And Hope To Spy” is the second book in the Gallagher Girls series by Ally Carter. The second book finds Cammie wrapped up in a mystery within her own school walls. What is “Operation Blackthorne”? Why are halls in the school suddenly off limits? And what’s up with the rumor of a spy school just like theirs – but for boys?
This second book was just as fun as the first. Cammie with all of her special skills yet all too typical teenage insecurities is funny, adorable, and totally enjoyable. I had too much fun going back to the Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women. The books are hardly suspenseful, but are plenty of fun. I highly recommend this book…as long as you read “I’d Tell You I Love You But Then I’d Have To Kill You” first.

My August book review – “I’d Tell You I Love You, But Then I’d Have To Kill You” by Ally Carter.

Sorry the sound and the picture are off. Hope it doesn’t drive you crazy :)

The first book in the Gallagher Girl series by Ally Carter, “I’d Tell You I Love You, But Then I’d Have To Kill You” is a story about a not so normal teenage girl at a not so normal school. Cammie is a sophomore at a private all girls school for spies. When her first Cover Ops assignment lands her at a carnival in the little town by the school, she breaks the rules when she strikes up a conversation with a local boy. But it isn’t easy having a relationship when you can’t be honest about who you are or where you come from. And as the school year goes on, the relationship gets harder and harder to hide.

I really enjoyed this book. I appreciated the fact that it was a clean YA book with likeable characters and just enough tension to keep you wanting more. I for sure recommend it and I can’t wait to read the next one!
